Khaberni - The Israeli occupation army launched air raids on various areas in southern Lebanon early Saturday.
The occupation army stated in a release that "the air force executed a wave of air raids in southern Lebanon," claiming that the attacks targeted Hezbollah infrastructure, where engineering tools used for the restoration of infrastructure were stored.
The army's statement added that the presence of these tools and Hezbollah's activity in the area constitute a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated in a release, "Once again, southern Lebanon falls under the blatant Israeli aggression against civilian facilities. Without justification or even pretext," considering that "the seriousness of the recent aggression comes after the ceasefire agreement in Gaza," where a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas came into effect Friday afternoon.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli aviation carried out 10 air raids overnight targeting 6 exhibitions of excavators and diggers on the Mseileh road, resulting in the destruction and burning of several vehicles.
The raids resulted in the martyrdom of one Lebanese and injuries to seven others.
