The operation announced “Khaberni - The Noble Knight 3” delivery 21 tankers of water for the benefit of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility in the Gaza Strip, contributing to securing water for affected families and areas suffering from severe water shortages, and covering the deficit faced by local bodies under challenging humanitarian conditions.
These supporting measures are part of the ongoing relief and humanitarian efforts of the United Arab Emirates to support the Palestinian people in the sector, and these tankers secure the needs of approximately 200,000 people, transporting nearly 150,000 liters of water per trip, ensuring each tank with a capacity of 10 cubic meters, contributes to ensuring that desalinated water reaches various areas.
According to the media officer in the "Khaberni - The Noble Knight 3" operation in the sector, Sharif Al-Nairab, the operation continues to provide everything necessary to ensure a continuous flow of desalinated water to various areas.
Meanwhile, the deputy executive director of the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility, Omar Shatat, praised the arrival of these tankers at this time due to the increasing need for them in various areas, commending the role of the "Khaberni - The Noble Knight 3" operation in enhancing humanitarian work within the sector, expressing gratitude to the government and people of the Emirates for their continuous support and noble positions in alleviating the suffering of the residents due to the war and the current crisis.
It is worth noting that the "Khaberni - The Noble Knight 3" operation, inaugurated about a month ago, opened a new line for transporting desalinated water from the Emirati station in El-Arish to Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip, with a capacity of 2 million gallons daily, serving hundreds of thousands of citizens in various areas of the sector.
