Khaberni - Hussein Shibli, Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, confirmed the readiness of the organization to send humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip immediately after the removal of the obstacles placed by Israel blocking their entry.
Shibli said on Friday evening that there is close cooperation between the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, to prepare and transport the aid to the sector through approved corridors, noting that Jordan is ready to send about 3,000 trucks weekly loaded with food, relief, and medical supplies.
He explained that more than 3,000 trucks are currently ready to cross from Jordan to Gaza, while the organization's warehouses hold more than 25,000 tons of essential food items.
He added that the organization's warehouses are filled with various food, relief, and medical supplies, thanks to popular donations from citizens, companies, and local associations, in addition to agreements signed with international partners, affirming that Jordan will continue to make every possible effort to deliver humanitarian support to the residents of the sector.
