Khaberni - The Lebanese artistic community has experienced significant controversy in recent hours, following the circulation of a video on social media allegedly documenting a fight between the Lebanese artist Wael Kfoury and his wife Shana Aboud.
The video, which quickly spread across digital platforms, sparked a wave of speculation about its authenticity, with conflicting accounts from those asserting it was real to others suggesting it was fabricated or falsely attributed to the couple. As the video's spread escalated, Angela Bashar, Kfoury's ex-wife and the mother of his two daughters, was accused of being behind the leak or promoting it on some artistic pages.
For her part, Angela Bashar, Kfoury's ex-wife and the mother of his children, denied any involvement with the leak, and stated in media comments that she knows nothing about the clip and did not participate in its distribution, noting that she does not have any active social media accounts to protect her family's privacy, according to her statement.
Bashar added that she has instructed her lawyer to take the necessary legal measures in response to the false accusations regarding the leak, emphasizing that she will not remain silent in the face of what she described as attempts to damage her reputation and her family’s reputation, urging caution in spreading unverified information.
This comes at a time when the relationship between Angela Bashar and Wael Kfoury is tense due to financial disputes related to the support of their daughters, as Bashar previously expressed dissatisfaction with the unchanged support payments despite the deteriorating economic conditions and rising living costs.
