Khaberni - The Israeli occupation forces shelled the cities of Khan Yunis and Gaza early Friday, despite the announcement of reaching a ceasefire agreement.
The occupation forces bombarded the battalion area in the center of Khan Yunis city in the south of the sector with several artillery shells, concurrent with the flight of drones in the city's skies.
The occupation's aircraft launched a violent aerial raid in the center of Khan Yunis city at dawn.
East of Gaza City also witnessed a raid by the occupation's aircraft along with artillery bombardment and gunfire from helicopter gunships.
Late last night, the occupation government approved a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu’s office stated that the government officially approved U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to end the war in Gaza.
It added that the government agreed to the broad outlines for the release of all detainees.
With the occupation government’s announcement of the approval of the agreement, the ceasefire came into effect.
President Trump announced on Thursday night the reaching of an agreement to implement the first phase of his plan for achieving peace in the Middle East, which includes ending the war on the Gaza Strip, the withdrawal of the occupation, the entry of humanitarian aid, and prisoner exchange.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have committed acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 67,000 Palestinians and injuring about 170,000 others, most of them children and women, and a famine that claimed the lives of 460 Palestinians including 154 children.
