Khaberni - The closing ceremony was held on Thursday at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC), marking the end of the fourteenth annual Warrior Competition in the presence of the Assistant for Operations and Training, numerous high-ranking officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies, as well as a number of ambassadors and military attachés from brotherly and friendly countries.
The center's director general, in his speech at the ceremony, stated that the competition serves as a global platform bringing together elite special operations and counter-terrorism units from various countries around the world, enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences, and enabling participants to access the latest technologies and capabilities available at the center.
The center's director highlighted that the competition utilized advanced technological systems and training methods that simulate realistic operational environments, which enabled participating teams to demonstrate high endurance, combat skills, and team spirit, reflecting the essence of the "true warrior" in terms of courage, discipline, and persistence.
A documentary film produced by the Military Media Directorate was shown during the closing ceremony, documenting the highlights and challenges of the competition, alongside a Jordanian folklore segment that represented the authentic national heritage.
The Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service team finished first and won the competition title, with the Special Forces of Brunei Darussalam in second place, and the King Abdullah II Special Royal Forces in third. The Assistant for Operations and Training distributed appreciation awards to the winning teams and also presented commemorative shields to the organizing entities and supporting companies.
The 5-day Warrior Competition, with the participation of 38 teams representing 23 countries from different continents of the world, aimed to exchange expertise between participating forces, enhance their efficiency, and hone their combat skills in environments and conditions that mimic reality, thereby embodying international cooperation and reflecting the high readiness to face modern security challenges.
