Khaberni - The American police in Tampa, Florida, arrested a suspect after a woman recorded her final moments before being killed by a gunshot, which quickly led to the exposure of the crime.
In the details, police officers responded to a report of gunfire and found a dead man on the ground and a woman partially hanging out of a white truck, according to an official report.
According to "The Sun" newspaper, the investigation clarified that the woman's mobile phone was recording video during the incident.
The investigation showed that the phone was recording a live video at the moment the crime occurred, where the woman appeared in the footage trying to prevent the suspect from searching the car, confronting him verbally, warning her accompanying man, which documented his actions and later led to identifying him.
After the gunfire, the video showed the woman trying to escape while the phone was still recording the actions of the suspect, which later helped the police in identifying him."
The police reported that the video showed the suspect brandishing a semi-automatic handgun toward the victims and firing several shots, as the phone shook with the woman's escape attempts, and after the incident, Julius, the suspect, fled and was later identified by his neighbors and house owner and was found in a red truck.
Julius told the police he was demanding money related to a vehicle sale, believing the meeting was to withdraw cash from an ATM, and when he discovered otherwise, he became extremely angry.
He is currently charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of tampering with evidence, and is currently detained in Hillsborough County Jail awaiting trial today.
