Khaberni - US President Donald Trump expressed optimism about settling the outstanding issues not covered by the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, even though he refused to take a position on the eventual establishment of a Palestinian state, acknowledging that "Hamas" may not be able to hand over all the bodies of dead hostages.

The US President said, referring to the arrangements that will force Hamas to give up its weapons, and the Israeli army to withdraw further into Gaza: "There will be disarmament, withdrawals, and many things will happen."

Trump continued, explaining the sequence of the plan: "I think that will happen, and I think it can end with peace in the Middle East, but we have to recover our hostages, and we would not do that in the end. We will do it in the beginning."

Trump did not go so far as to say that the Palestinians would be allowed to stay inside Gaza, instead indicating that his plans include rebuilding the sector and turning it into a livable area.

Trump said: "We will create a place where people can live. You cannot live in Gaza right now."

He said he would agree to anything agreed upon regarding the Palestinian state, refusing to endorse a two-state solution in the end.

When asked about Hamas's ability to locate the bodies of all the dead hostages, Trump acknowledged that "some will be somewhat difficult to find."
