The Palestinian right cannot be reduced to a truce The Jordanian National Union demands the reconstruction of Gaza with a pur

Khaberni - In light of the unprecedented humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, and with the announcement of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement, the Jordanian National Union Party confirms that the Jordanian public and party stance will remain steadfast in supporting the Palestinian people and their resilience, and rejecting all forms of aggression, displacement, and the siege that our people in Gaza have been enduring for a full year of pain and destruction.

The party appreciates the regional and international efforts, led by Jordanian efforts, aimed at stopping the bloodshed and protecting civilians, emphasizing that the Palestinian right to life, freedom, and independence cannot be reduced to a temporary truce or security arrangements, but is a deep-rooted historical right that does not expire with time.

The Jordanian National Union Party calls upon the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities in holding the occupation accountable for its crimes, ensuring the opening of crossings for the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid, and starting the process of rebuilding the sector under joint UN and Arab supervision, ensuring dignity and justice for a people still paying the price of occupation with legendary patience and unbreakable faith.

The party confirms that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, will remain the foremost defender of the Palestinian cause and the Hashemite custodianship of the sanctities in Jerusalem, and that it will not allow any settlement that undermines the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people or affects their national constants.

The party asserts that the reconstruction of Gaza must be conducted with purely Arab hands, under joint supervision of the Arab and Islamic countries that have always believed in the justice of the Palestinian cause. The destruction of the sector should not be rebuilt with donor money alone, but with a sincere Arab will that prioritizes dignity over aid, and rebuilds homes, schools, and hospitals with the efforts of Arab engineers and workers, making Gaza a testament to true Arab solidarity, not to international inefficacy.
Reconstructing Gaza is not just an engineering project, but a project of dignity and a cohesive Arab identity, restoring confidence to the nation and proving that the unity of the Arab stance is capable of turning rubble into hope, and ruins into life.

Finally, the party renews its full solidarity with our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, and confirms that true justice and peace will only be achieved by ending the occupation, and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
