Khaberni - The board of the Jordan Basketball Federation decided to refer the file of the player Zain Al-Najdawi to the Disciplinary and Conduct Committee, which took a decision to ban him from playing locally and internationally after his repeated refusal to represent the men's national team.
The federation affirmed that representing the national team and carrying the Jordanian flag is considered a "national duty and an honor that cannot be compromised," and that the player's failure to perform this duty is considered a "gross breach of national responsibility and sports discipline."
The federation noted that representing the nation is not just an assignment, but an honor and privilege that requires absolute loyalty and commitment to the homeland, and striving to represent it in the best possible way.
The Jordan Basketball Federation also confirmed that it will not hesitate to deal with such behavior to protect the national duty and ensure the player's performance of his national responsibilities in the best possible way, protecting the interests of the game and the reputation of Jordanian sports.
