Khaberni - Minister of Youth Dr. Raed Sami Al-Adwan and the CEO of Orange Jordan Engineer Philip Mansour discussed on Wednesday the ways to enhance the cooperation between the ministry and the company, in the presence of the Executive Director for Corporate Communications and Sustainability at the company, Engineer Rana Al-Dabbas.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Al-Adwan emphasized the ministry's commitment to the technical empowerment of youth through the development of their digital skills, aligning with future job roles and market requirements, detailing the ministry’s plan to activate youth centers, which includes a primary focus on developing programs offered at youth centers and by the Ministry of Youth, enhancing entrepreneurship and innovation programs, and digital culture and programming in the plans of directorates and youth centers and business incubators.
He appreciated the extended partnership with Orange Jordan, which contributed through the Orange Digital Center to empower youth, teaching them communication, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills, in addition to providing comprehensive communication solutions that support training programs.
On his part, Engineer Mansour affirmed the company's commitment to digitally empowering youth and supporting them to shape their future, encouraging diverse talents to join the telecommunications and information technology sector and contribute to achieving the vision of national digital transformation.
He added that the technical solutions provided by the company and its investments in the infrastructure of the fifth-generation network reflect the company’s approach in committing to and achieving its promises, making a positive impact on the community, and enhancing sustainability.
The two parties discussed ways to support volunteer efforts and ensure their impact and sustainability, where the company won the Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work in the second cycle for the profit institutions category.
