Khaberni - The Dean of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the College of Information Technology at Petra University, organized an alumni gathering with broad participation from graduates of various years, attended by faculty members and several prominent academic figures.
The Acting Dean of the College, Dr. Mai Nashashibi, opened the gathering with a welcoming speech, expressing her pleasure in meeting the alumni again on campus. She emphasized the importance of building ongoing communication bridges with them and benefiting from their experiences and expertise to support the educational process and enhance student capabilities.
Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Eyad Al-Mallah, also welcomed the attendees, praising the outstanding achievements that the college’s graduates have achieved both locally and internationally, and affirming that the college is proud of its alumni and considers them partners in its journey towards development and advancement.
The meeting featured notable contributions from a number of graduates. Graduate Suleiman Battat shared his professional experience and success working abroad in his field of specialization, confirming the importance of academic excellence and practical skills he acquired during his university education. Graduate Khalil Al-Ustaad also presented a slide show about his entrepreneurial project, discussing its development phases and the challenges he faced.
Additionally, a number of other graduates participated in discussing their professional experiences and various initiatives in the field of information technology, adding a rich layer of inspiring and practical experiences to the gathering.
The meeting included an open dialogue session between the graduates and the faculty members, discussing ways to develop academic programs in line with the rapid technological transformations and labor market requirements.
