Khaberni - The Ministry of Interior in the United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday, handed over two of the most internationally wanted individuals to the Belgian authorities, following their arrest by the Dubai Police and Sharjah Police, based on a red notice issued by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
According to the Emirates News Agency "WAM", the two wanted individuals, who are among the most wanted in Belgium, face charges related to cross-border drug trafficking, forming a dangerous gang, and committing money laundering crimes.
The handover process was carried out in execution of a judicial ruling and a decision issued by the UAE Ministry of Justice, as part of the country's commitment to implementing international legal procedures, enhancing cooperation with law enforcement agencies in various countries, and dedicating its efforts to combat organized crime across borders.
