Khaberni - Media reports reveal that French club Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to cause a new earthquake in the transfer market.
The Spanish newspaper Defensa Central reported that the Parisian club's management plans to break the world record for football transfers by making a huge offer amounting to 230 million euros to sign the young Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.
It added: "If the potential deal goes through, it would surpass the current record of 222 million euros, which is the same amount that Paris Saint-Germain paid in 2017 to sign the Brazilian Neymar from Barcelona, in one of the most controversial deals in the history of the game."
It continued: "Lamine Yamal has become one of the most prominent rising talents in Europe, attracting the attention of major clubs thanks to his incredible performance with Barcelona and the Spanish national team, despite his young age."
It concluded: "Paris Saint-Germain sees in Yamal the perfect successor to the star Kylian Mbappé who moved to Real Madrid, and the club is ready to use its financial power to convince Barcelona to let go of their promising star, despite the Catalan club's insistence on keeping him as a cornerstone for their future project."
