Khaberni - The government office in the Gaza Strip warned on Thursday the residents of the sector against any movement and daily activities until a clear and confirmed official announcement is issued by the competent Palestinian authorities regarding the "Gaza Agreement".
The office said in a statement: "The utmost caution must be taken during the movement and activities of the residents, and not to feel completely safe until the official instructions are issued."
The statement added: "Movement is prohibited on Al-Rasheed and Salah Al-Din streets in both directions until official instructions are issued, in anticipation of any breaches or acts of treachery by the occupying forces."
The office confirmed that these measures are part of the concern for the safety of the residents amid the latest developments.
President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of the peace plan, stating that all detainees would soon be released, and that Israel would withdraw its forces to an agreed line in preparation for a "strong and lasting" peace.
Trump added via the Truth Social platform, early Thursday, that all parties will be treated justly, describing the day as "great for both the Arab and Islamic world, and for Israel, and for the United States", thanking Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey for their role in what he described as a "historic and unprecedented event."
The spokesperson for the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al-Ansari, announced early Thursday that the mediators had reached an agreement that includes all the terms and mechanisms for implementing the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza.
Al-Ansari explained via the "X" platform that the agreement aims to stop the war, and release the detained Israelis and Palestinian prisoners, as well as introduce humanitarian aid into the sector, indicating that the details of the agreement will be announced later.
