Khaberni - The Kuwaiti artist Abdullah Bu Shehri revealed details of his health struggles over the past six months, which concluded with a delicate surgical procedure that saved his life, after medical tests showed his stomach had pierced the diaphragm and reached the heart area, necessitating immediate intervention by a complete medical team.

In an interview with "ET in Arabic," Bu Shehri explained that the symptoms he had suffered from for a long time were worrisome, but he initially thought they were due to muscle strain in the heart area.

After undergoing an X-ray in Bahrain, it was clear that his condition required immediate surgery, prompting him to return to Kuwait to undergo the procedure amidst his family's support.

Abdullah Bu Shehri noted that the surgery was performed by a team of four specialist doctors to separate the adhesion between the stomach and the heart, and lasted for several hours, after which he began a recovery phase during which he lost more than 6 kilograms in 10 days, adhering to a strict diet under his doctor’s supervision.

Bu Shehri also mentioned that the support he received from his fans and friends in the artistic community had a significant impact on his psychological state during the treatment period, specifically mentioning actress Shojoun Al-Hajri, whom he described as being part of his family since childhood, confirming that her moral support helped him get through the crisis.

He also praised Shojoun's return to her usual activities on social media and her regaining balance after a period of decline due to her famous crisis.

The Kuwaiti artist Abdullah Bu Shehri broke his silence, sharply commenting on what he described as "irresponsible media fatwas" regarding the case of actress Shojoun Al-Hajri, which occupied public opinion in Kuwait and the Gulf in recent days, asserting that random interpretations and undocumented statements harm her and do not benefit her.

In another context, Bu Shehri discussed the controversy surrounding his dispute with actress Elham Al-Fadalah, indicating that the dispute was not personal, but stemmed from his desire to protect Shojoun Al-Hajri from the circulation of sensitive details across digital platforms.

Abdullah Bu Shehri emphasized his full respect for Elham Al-Fadalah, expressing his readiness to collaborate with her in future works, pointing out the importance of overcoming differences and focusing on presenting Gulf drama that restores the audience's confidence after the dispersion seen in recent works.

It is worth mentioning that Abdullah Bu Shehri is preparing to compete in the Ramadan 2026 drama race, with a new project written by Fahd Al-Aliwa and produced by Jamal Sanan, with details expected to be revealed in the upcoming period.
