The aim of this project was to enhance financial literacy and management skills among entrepreneurs, covering entrepreneurs, startups, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and involved 100 entrepreneurs from five provinces, namely Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Karak, and Aqaba, over a period of eight months.
The project included a comprehensive program consisting of 10 essential training modules including budgeting and financial planning, cash flow management, access to financing, savings and insurance solutions, understanding customer needs, market entry strategies, business plan preparation and strategic management, financial bookkeeping management, best accounting practices such as tax systems and billing, risk management and financial resilience, networking and readiness for investment.
Orange Jordan expressed pride in its extended partnership with the German International Cooperation (GIZ), which was manifested in a project that enhances the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Kingdom, by empowering startups and providing them with knowledge and skills in management and financial literacy, thereby preparing the entrepreneurs for growth, sustainability, and achieving positive economic impact locally and regionally. It reflects Orange's commitment to their promises and fulfilling them responsibly and ethically.
The German International Cooperation, through its project on innovative curricula for financial inclusion, emphasized that financial literacy is a cornerstone for sustainable economic growth. Through our cooperation with Orange Jordan, we are proud to support entrepreneurs and small businesses across the Kingdom, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed for growth and creating sustainable job opportunities in Jordan.
It is worth noting that Orange's role was not limited to providing instructional modules only, but also enhanced the project by involving their strategic partners, such as Capital Bank, to provide expertise to the participants in the financial sector, thus giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to benefit from real-life and practical experiences. They were also connected to inspiring success stories in the world of entrepreneurship, as well as introduced to electronic payment solutions, including Orange Money, which serves as an effective tool to support the growth of their businesses and facilitate their financial transactions.
