Khaberni - Minister of Transport Dr. Nidal Al-Qatamin visited the Land Transport Regulatory Authority this morning, and listened from the General Director of the Authority, Engineer Riyad Al-Kharabsheh, and directors of the directorates to a briefing about the nature of the directorates' work and the services provided to operators and citizens, as well as the main challenges facing the Authority.
During the visit, which was accompanied by the Ministry's Secretary-General Fares Abu Dayyeh, Al-Qatamin emphasized the importance of improving operational and legislative procedures to ensure the provision of safe, modern, and sustainable transport services for citizens, directing the enhancement of the use of modern technology in these services and ensuring their readiness to serve both the citizen and the operator.
He stressed the importance of completing digital transformation projects related to the transport sector within the programs of the Economic Modernization Vision and the National Transport Strategy, and ensuring their implementation on time, alongside developing the internal environment in the Authority and enhancing the capabilities of its cadres, implementing governance, financial and administrative oversight, enhancing mechanisms for listening to complaints from citizens and operators, and addressing them effectively.
Engineer Riyad Al-Kharabsheh presented a report on the current work mechanisms and services provided to the transport sectors, affirming the Authority's commitment to develop its services and improve performance efficiency in line with the goals of the Economic Modernization Vision and the measures to improve services provided to citizens within the framework of the Ministry of Transport's directions and strategic plans.
