Khaberni - The "Instagram" platform grants the top 25 content creators golden gifts in accordance with the new program launched by the platform to reward outstanding content creators, as reported by "CNBC".

The gifts include a ring made of pure gold along with a new logo that appears next to their accounts on the platform. The content creators will be selected by a jury that includes Adam Mosseri, the executive director of the platform, film director Spike Lee, designer Marc Jacobs, and tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee.

This move comes after "Meta" halted its reward program, which used to award content creators money based on views on short video clips, halting it in 2023. Following that, in 2024, Mosseri stated that the platform was working on developing a new rewards program after the escalating dissatisfaction over the cancellation of the old program.

Brownlee explained in a statement to "CNBC" that the new program is not about financial rewards but is a form of recognition for outstanding content creators.

Content creators participating in the program can also change the background of their accounts on the platform in addition to customizing the like button that appears on their accounts.

The report indicates that "YouTube" has paid more than $100 billion to content creators over the past four years as part of its own rewards program, despite creators experiencing a decrease in earnings exceeding 50% in 2024 alone.

The platform describes the new program as an award for the most creative, clearly indicating that there are additional criteria for selecting the winners of these gifts beyond just the number of followers.

There is no information on whether the program will continue for a long period or if it is just an annual awards ceremony similar to the Oscars, as the company has not clarified this matter.
