The execution investigations unit at Bab Sharq police station in Alexandria managed to arrest the head of the district to enforce a prior sentence of imprisonment against him in a bribery case.
Initially, the West Delta Execution Department determined the location of the head of East Alexandria district, related to case number 1329 in the year 2025 for crimes in Bab Sharq "bribery," who was wanted in connection with this case after being sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment.
A head of a center and city in one of the districts of West Alexandria was appointed, referring to the general who was arrested when he was assigned to Borg El Arab, and he was arrested by the Administrative Control when he was the city head in Gharbia Governorate. He faced several charges and was recorded by the Administrative Control, which kept him away from work for 5 consecutive years due to these incidents.
He was stationed in Alexandria Governorate and was prohibited from holding any leadership positions until Governor of Alexandria Ahmed Khaled came and decided to appoint him to his position, then transferred him to an important district in the middle of the city.
According to Egyptian media, the governor did not just appoint the leaderships arrested by the Administrative Control, but also appointed a secretary from the governorate of Alexandria's office to one of the districts of West Alexandria, who was also accused of obtaining apartments from the governorate’s housing for himself.
In another context, the districts of Alexandria have witnessed changes in 4 districts two days ago, which included the appointment of General Hatem Zain Al-Abideen as head of East district after he had previously served as head of Central Alexandria district, and had also previously held the position of head of Borg El Arab center and city.
