Khaberni - Taher Al-Nono, the media advisor to the head of Hamas's political bureau, stated from Sharm el-Sheikh that the movement's delegation presented the necessary positivity and responsibility to achieve the needed progress and complete the agreement during the ongoing negotiations.
Al-Nono added that the mediators are making considerable efforts to remove any obstacles facing the implementation of the ceasefire, noting that "a spirit of optimism is pervasive among all participating parties."
He explained that the negotiations focused on the mechanisms for ending the war on the Gaza Strip, the withdrawal of the occupying forces, and the exchange of prisoners, pointing out that today they exchanged lists of prisoners to be released according to the agreed standards and numbers.
He confirmed that the indirect negotiations continue today with the participation of all parties and mediators, in a positive atmosphere aiming to reach a comprehensive agreement that will end the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
