Khaberni - October 2024 recorded the highest rate of human injury accidents, amounting to 9.4 percent of all the injury accidents that occurred throughout the year, according to a recent report.
The Traffic Department confirmed that adhering to traffic laws and driving responsibly is not just an individual duty but a collective commitment that contributes to protecting lives and ensuring safety on the roads, urging drivers to maintain traffic discipline and avoid dangerous behaviors while driving.
The department emphasized the necessity of wearing seat belts, avoiding the use of mobile phones while driving, maintaining a safe distance between vehicles, and staying away from improper parking and sudden swerving, as such violations have a direct impact on the occurrence of accidents and injuries.
It stated that road safety is a shared responsibility that requires community awareness and cooperation from all road users, noting that the decisions made by a driver behind the wheel can determine his fate and the fate of others, calling on everyone to adhere to a civil traffic culture that preserves lives and reduces accidents.
