Khaberni - To affirm the role of the Jordanian teacher in the advancement of education and enhancing its role and message in developing the teaching profession, which bears the highest of messages, the Arab Islamic International Bank sponsored the ceremony honoring male and female teachers on the occasion of World Teachers' Day, organized by the Ministry of Education under the sponsorship of the Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, and attended by His Excellency Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, the Minister of Education, along with a group of ministers, deputies, educational and academic figures, and the Head of Business and Investment at the Arab Islamic International Bank, Dr. Mohsen Abu Awad, held at the Royal Cultural Center.
On this matter, His Excellency Mr. Iyad Al-Asali, General Manager of the Arab Islamic International Bank, stated that this sponsorship comes within the framework of the bank's policy to support the educational sector, specifically our male and female teachers, through the diverse and comprehensive Islamic banking services and products offered by the bank to the teachers' sector, which are in accordance with the provisions and rules of the benevolent Islamic Shari'ah, meeting the actual financial needs of this important segment, which forms the backbone of our society given the significant role teachers play in transferring knowledge and fostering an active generation in society and supporting the economic growth process.
He said that this initiative comes from the bank’s commitment to World Teachers' Day, which holds special importance, believing that this day is not only a day to honor teachers but also a recognition of education, which is considered among the noblest professions as it is the key to development and the advancement of nations. Al-Asali expressed his pride in the partnership between the Arab Islamic International Bank and the Ministry of Education and the bank's continuous annual sponsorship of the ministry's activities in appreciation of the role of Jordanian teachers, who are at the heart of the educational process and the foundation of reform and societal advancement.
