Khaberni - The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement plans to form a new team dedicated to monitoring social media platforms throughout the day and across the week without any holidays, according to a report published by the tech site "Engadget".

The new team aims to investigate social media platforms for new issues and targets that the administration can focus on during its upcoming campaigns, according to documents reviewed by "Wired" and "Engadget".

The document indicates that the administration intends to check all social media platforms including "Facebook", "X", "Instagram", and even "Reddit" to find wanted individuals for justice or completely build new cases. The team's tasks include searching for individuals on the administration’s top 10 most wanted list and even individuals who face minor charges or have not been charged yet.

The US administration desires to employ 12 full-time members to work from the administration's headquarters at the National Center for Criminal Analysis and Targeting in Vermont, with 3 staff members present at all times.

The matter will not be limited to the Vermont center only; the administration also strives to form a law enforcement response team in the Pacific region, which will be based in California and will include 16 full-time employees.

The administration's documents include references to the use of artificial intelligence to search for targets and assess their threat level, but these plans are still in their early stages.

It is worth noting that the US Immigration administration is launching vigorous campaigns against undocumented immigrants and those involved in several cases, as clips have emerged on social media of administration members gathering immigrants.

The administration also removed an app from the "iPhone" app store named "ICE Block" which acted as an alternative social media platform for immigrants, alerting them to the presence of administration employees nearby.
