Khaberni - The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced the weather conditions and expected meteorological phenomena for the upcoming hours, and emphasized the necessity of taking all necessary measures to mitigate the effects associated with the disturbance of maritime navigation.
It also warned of maritime navigation disruptions on the coasts of Matrouh, Alamein, Alexandria, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh, Damietta, and Port Said, where wind speeds will reach between 40 and 60 kilometers per hour, and wave heights will range from 2.5 to 3.5 meters.
Regarding the weather on Tuesday, it confirmed that moderate autumn weather will prevail, being hot during the day in the northern country to Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, moderately warm in the early morning and night in most parts, with a slight drop in temperatures.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of the continuation of rainfall today, with maritime disturbances on the beaches of 7 coastal areas overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, due to the activity of northwesterly winds.
It also indicated the ongoing formation of low and medium clouds on the northwestern coasts of the country, extending to the north of the Bahari region in Matrouh, Sallum, Alamein, and Alexandria, where they are accompanied by rain ranging from moderate to light at times during the day and intermittently.
This is in addition to the appearance of some low clouds in the morning in areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo and the Canal cities, which may result in light drizzle, not affecting some areas.
The Meteorological Authority also pointed to wind activity in areas of the northwestern coasts, southern Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, which helps to cool the atmosphere during the day and in the night periods.
