Torn by forest animals A Turkish man met a horrific end after killing his wife

Khaberni - The Turkish security services found the body of a man who had killed his wife and fled to the forest about two months ago. It turned out that wild animals had devoured parts of his body in the "Vakfıkbir" area, which belongs to the state of Trabzon in northern Turkey.

The story began on August 9, when Mustafa Salam (38 years old) killed his wife Tugba Salam inside their home in the "Kara Tepe" neighborhood. He stabbed her with a knife while she was in the bathroom, then shot her with a hunting rifle, which killed her instantly, according to initial investigations.

Immediately after committing the crime, the perpetrator fled to the nearby forest carrying his weapon, while ambulance and police teams were called to the scene to find the wife dead with several fatal wounds.

The Turkish gendarmerie launched a large-scale search operation with the participation of special teams from tactical units and police dogs to track down the perpetrator in the dense mountainous areas, but they found no trace of him.

After continuous efforts lasting about two months without any trace of him, the authorities received a report from local residents about strange odors emanating from the depths of the forest.

Upon arriving at the location, they found the body of a man in an advanced state of decomposition, with parts of it devoured by predatory animals.

The body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute in Trabzon, where examination results confirmed that it belonged to Mustafa Salam, who is believed to have committed suicide after the crime, before wild animals mauled his body.
