Khaberni - Sam Altman, CEO of "OpenAI," announced on Monday during the "DevDay" conference the launch of "AgentKit," a toolkit to assist developers in building and deploying artificial intelligence agents.
Altman stated that "AgentKit" is a comprehensive suite of building blocks available on the "OpenAI" platform, designed to help developers move agents from prototype to production stage.
Speaking to developers during a keynote at the opening of his company's annual developer conference, he added, "It's everything you need to build, deploy, and enhance the workflow of agents with much fewer hurdles."
This launch highlights "OpenAI's" pursuit to increase developers' adoption of its technologies by making building agents faster and easier, according to a report seen by "Al Arabia Business" from "TechCrunch," a site specialized in technology news.
This also indicates a competitive move against other artificial intelligence platforms racing to offer comprehensive tools for building autonomous agents for companies, capable of performing complex tasks, not just responding to user requests.
"AgentKit" was one of several announcements made by "OpenAI" on Monday, including the launch of the capability to build apps directly inside the chatbot "ChatGPT," which has reached 800 million active users weekly.
