Khaberni - Sam Altman, CEO of "OpenAI," announced on Monday during the company's annual developers' conference "DevDay 2025" the integration of external applications into the ChatGPT chatbot.
This new feature allows users to interact with these applications directly through "ChatGPT" and make requests to them from the chatbot window.
Among the applications displayed within "ChatGPT" during the conference were "Coursera," "Canva," and "Zillow," and it is also expected that "Booking.com" and "Spotify" will be added later.
Altman, in a keynote he delivered at the conference in San Francisco, stated that some of these applications will start their integration with "ChatGPT" starting from this Monday, with other applications to be added later.
He added: "We hope this will be a significant achievement that helps developers quickly expand the scale of their products."
Altman mentioned that "ChatGPT" has reached 800 million active weekly users, noting an increase in its adoption among consumers, developers, businesses, and governments.
