Khaberni - The Chinese company "Zeekr", the luxury brand under "Geely" group, unveiled the updated version of its electric car "Zeekr 001", which comes with revolutionary updates in performance and technology, confirming its position as one of the biggest competitors in the market of luxury electric vehicles.
The new generation of "Zeekr 001" relies on a 900-volt electrical architecture, representing a significant leap compared to the previous 800-volt platform, allowing faster charging and higher efficiency in energy consumption, in addition to enhanced road performance, according to "Interesting Engineering".
The rear-wheel drive version of the car comes equipped with a 370-kilowatt (489 horsepower) engine and a "Qilin" battery from the Chinese company "CATL" with a capacity of 103 kilowatt-hours, providing a driving range of up to 810 kilometers according to the CLTC standard, and it can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes. It also accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.98 seconds.
The all-wheel-drive version comes with an additional front motor rated at 310 kilowatts (416 horsepower), bringing the total power to 912 horsepower, and is available with two battery options: 95 kilowatt-hours Golden Brick or 103 kilowatt-hours Qilin, offering a driving range of 710 to 762 kilometers.
The 95 kilowatt-hour version supports ultra-fast 12C charging technology, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 7 minutes, while it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 2.83 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 280 km/h.
Luxurious Interior and Advanced Technologies
Inside, the "Zeekr 001" received a luxurious upgrade, notably a central screen measuring 16 inches with 3.5K resolution, which can rotate by 30 degrees, along with a high-resolution 13.02-inch dashboard screen, an 8-inch rear passenger control screen, in addition to a 39.3-inch augmented reality head-up display, and an immersive audio system with 29 speakers.
The design of the cabin is dominated by luxurious materials, with extensive use of premium Nappa leather, and the central console covered with velvet fabric. The exterior design maintains the elegance of the previous version, with extensive customization options for the car including the color, logo, rear wing, mirrors, bumpers, wheels, and brake discs.
The car comes with a length of 4.98 meters, a width of approximately 2 meters, and a height of 1.54 meters, with a wheelbase of about 3 meters, providing high stability and spacious interior space.
Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Safety
The improvements are not limited to performance and design, but also include smart driving systems. The car is equipped with the Zeekr G-Pilot H7 driving assistance system, which includes 31 sensor units featuring LiDAR technology, to provide the highest levels of safety and autonomous operation.
The system relies on Nvidia Drive Thor-U advanced chip, which provides a computing power of up to 700 trillion operations per second (TOPS), compared to 508 TOPS in the previous generation that used Mobileye EyeQ5H and Nvidia Drive Orin chips.
Since its launch in 2021, "Zeekr 001" has maintained its position as a leading model in the Zeekr lineup, and has contributed to cementing the brand in the electric car market, offering superior performance, advanced technologies, and a modern design, among six diverse models that combine innovation and luxury.
