Khaberni - The Greater Amman Municipality committee approved during its session held today Monday under the chairmanship of Dr. Yusuf Shawarbeh a draft agreement for providing waste collection and transportation services and debris from the Dead Sea beaches between the Amman Municipality and the Jordanian Group for Free Zones and Development, aimed at enhancing the level of cleanliness and preserving the environment in the region, contributing to improving the scenic view and creating a clean and attractive investment environment.
The committee also approved the proposed amendments to the terms, categories, and awards of the "Amman Through Our Eyes" photography competition for the year 2026, after reviewing and developing them based on feedback from previous sessions, to showcase the identity, landmarks, and cultural and civilizational diversity of the capital.
In addition, the Traffic Management director Brigadier Raed Al-Asaf, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Yazan Al-Khudair, took the legal oath as new members of the municipality committee.
