Khaberni - Zarqa Municipality has affirmed its commitment to protecting public funds and citizens' rights, explaining that what has been circulated on social media about the closure of an air conditioner shop is baseless.
The municipality clarified that its personnel did not close the shop, but instead issued a warning to rectify its status, after a field inspection revealed that the shop was paying only eight dinars annually for sign permits, whereas the actual amount due is 2800 dinars according to the physical audit on site.
The municipality affirmed that everyone is under the law, and it will not allow any violations that affect public funds.
