Khaberni - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi praised his American counterpart Donald Trump's plan regarding Gaza on Monday, before indirect talks in Egypt between negotiators from Hamas, Israel, and the United States.
Al-Sisi said, "I can only extend my greetings and appreciation to American President Donald Trump for his initiative that seeks to halt the gunfire in Gaza," adding that "a ceasefire, the return of captives and detainees, the reconstruction of Gaza, and the initiation of a peaceful political process leading to the establishment of and recognition of the Palestinian state means that we are on the right path towards enduring peace and solid stability."
