Khaberni - The National Cybersecurity Center announced on Monday the launch of the "Digital Tip" campaign for the fourth consecutive year on the occasion of Cybersecurity Awareness Month – October, which aims to promote a secure digital culture among various segments of society.

According to a statement, the campaign's awareness messages are broadcasted on the center’s social media pages, in addition to advertising screens in the capital's streets, in collaboration with Greater Amman Municipality and the Smart Cities Forum, to ensure it reaches the largest segment of citizens and residents.

The center confirmed that cybersecurity awareness is not limited to just the month of October but is an ongoing national effort throughout the year, in view of the growing digital threats targeting individuals and institutions alike, from attempts at electronic fraud and data theft to widespread cyberattacks that could affect vital sectors.

The center highlighted in a statement the importance of intensifying these efforts during the Global Awareness Month, as an opportunity to unify messages and motivate the community to adopt secure digital behaviors.

The continuation of the "Digital Tip" campaign for the third year in a row confirms the commitment of the center and its partners to spread digital awareness, providing individuals with preventive guidance and practical tips to help them protect themselves from the increasing cyber risks.
