Khaberni - The volume of real estate transactions in Jordan decreased by 8% during the first ten months of the current year, recording 4.84 billion dinars compared with 5.23 billion dinars registered in the same period of the previous year.
According to data from the Land and Survey Department reviewed by "Khaberni", the number of subdivision transactions during 10 months of the current year was 6,485, compared with 8,272 transactions registered in the same period from 2024.
In contrast, the number of transactions to remove joint ownership increased to 1,972 thousand transactions compared with 1,644 thousand transactions in 10 months from 2024.
In addition, the number of ownership applications from both males and females since the start of the year until the beginning of the current October increased to 592,676 applications compared with 515,029 applications in the same period from 2024.
