Khaberni - The former Jordanian world champion in weightlifting, Captain Mo'ath Al-Junaidi, revealed details of his injury in the Kingdom of Bahrain, while he was leading the weightlifting team in preparation for the World Championship scheduled in Egypt.
Al-Junaidi said in statements to the "Khaberni" website, on Sunday evening, that he suffered a pelvic joint fracture due to falling from his chair.
He added that under the supervision of the Olympic Committee, he was sent for treatment in Jordan and transferred to the Medical City.
Al-Junaidi requested special care from the relevant authorities as a player representing Jordan in world championships, pointing out that the health insurance covers only the player himself, not his family.
Al-Junaidi appealed to the medical authorities to expedite his surgical operation, calling for greater care for international Jordanian players.
