Khaberni - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has confirmed that all visa holders, regardless of type, can perform the Umrah rituals during their stay in the Kingdom.
The announcement from the Hajj Ministry in the Kingdom is part of its efforts to facilitate procedures for the guests of the Most Merciful, and to expand the number of beneficiaries from the services offered in the Hajj and Umrah system, in fulfillment of the targets of "Saudi Vision 2030".
Types of visas that allow Umrah performance
The ministry clarified in a statement reported today by the Saudi Press Agency Sunday that these visas include:
- Personal and family visit visa
- Electronic tourism visa
- Transit visa
- Work visa
- Other types of visas
The Ministry of Hajj indicated that this step is a continuation of the Kingdom's approach to facilitating the arrival of Muslims from all over the world to perform the rituals with ease and tranquility.
Steps to perform Umrah
The ministry recently introduced the "Nusk Umrah" platform for those wishing to perform Umrah directly, by logging into the platform, selecting the appropriate package, and issuing the Umrah permit electronically with ease, in a comprehensive digital experience that allows beneficiaries to book services and choose appointments flexibly.
The ministry concluded that these facilitations embody the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince to enable Muslims to visit the holy mosques and perform their rituals in a safe spiritual atmosphere, and to provide the best services that enrich the experience of the guests of the Most Merciful and facilitate their spiritual journey.
