Khaberni - The President of the Independent Election Commission, Musa Al-Maaytah, said that Jordan has become a model in managing the electoral process, and a model to be emulated by all surrounding countries, confirming that Jordan is one of the few countries in this region that conducts real elections.
Al-Maaytah added, during his talk on "Al-Mamlaka," that the Jordanian experience has become a model in applying democracy and the electoral process.
Al-Maaytah clarified that certain derogatory statements by officials in the state, which targeted the process and electoral procedures in the past, particularly regarding their prevention from voting or running for office, are statements that harm the commission and the electoral process, and should not be made, confirming that the official should have addressed those issues at the time, not now.
