Khaberni - The Cabinet, in its session held on Sunday, chaired by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, approved the system for Jordanian tourism and travel offices and companies for the year 2025, to encourage investment in the tourism sector, simplify the processes and requirements for the classification of tourism and travel offices and companies in Jordan, reduce the financial guarantees required from some office categories, and cancel the license issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
The system specifies the categories of offices, the conditions for their classification, the services they offer, and the obligations incumbent upon them according to their classification category.
The Council also approved the draft system for tourist guides services for the year 2025; for the purpose of regulating the practice of tourist guides services and determining the conditions related to its practice, as well as defining the classification categories of tourist guides and conditions for obtaining a classification for each tourist guide.
The system also specifies the obligations incumbent upon the tourist guide when practicing the profession, and the cases of granting a temporary permit.
