Khaberni - A medical source reported the fall of part of the ceiling of the Irbid Governorate Finance Directorate building this morning, causing panic among employees and visitors, and resulting in minor injuries.
The incident occurred during the morning rush hour when those present were surprised by parts of the ceiling falling in one of the departments of the directorate.
Employees and visitors rushed outside, while rescue and ambulance teams intervened immediately.
Sources confirmed that the incident resulted in minor injuries to a number of people, mostly confined to bruises and superficial cuts due to flying debris.
First aid was provided to the injured at the site, and a few of them were transported to the hospital to ensure their condition was stable.
