According to the annual report for the Department of Civil Status and Passports, the revenues amounted to 48,283,199 Dinars.
The expenses of the department for the same year amounted to 16,206,216 Dinars.
Regarding the electronic archiving project for paper files, the Directorate of Files and Archiving worked on archiving (75,604) files of departments and civil status containing (7,155,635) documents, archiving events for those with no registration (187,925) with a total of (1,154,845) documents, and archiving civil registry files (56,862) containing (469,345) documents.
(1,607) vital event records (birth, death, marriage, divorce) containing (99,263) documents were also archived.
