Khaberni - The annual report issued by the Department of Civil Status and Passports for the year 2024 revealed the recording of 14657 divorce cases in the kingdom, with an overall divorce rate of 28.6%.
The report indicated that the age groups (25–29) and (30–34) recorded the highest divorce rates.
The analysis included in the report pointed out that females tend to divorce at a younger age than males, with the highest rates of divorce among females concentrated in their early and mid-twenties, while for males, it tends to be in the late twenties and early thirties.
