Arab Bank supports the Financial Knowledge and Technological Innovation program at Haya Cultural Center

Khaberni - Arab Bank announced its support for the "Financial Knowledge and Technological Innovation" program, launched by the Haya Cultural Center, targeting students from public schools and charitable associations in four governorates: Amman, Balqa, Zarqa, and Madaba. The program, which represents a pioneering model in integrating education, technology, and the arts, aims to empower children and young people to acquire financial and creative skills through innovative educational, artistic, and technological activities and workshops, presented in an enjoyable interactive experience that contributes to enhancing financial awareness and consolidating innovation concepts, as well as developing their abilities and polishing their personalities. This support embodies Arab Bank's commitment to its community responsibility and its keenness on investing in the energies of the emerging generations and enhancing their role in the future.

The program relies on two integrated pillars that combine financial literacy, arts, and technology in an innovative practical experience, where approximately 300 children aged between 9 and 14 participate in the "Smart Money Box" workshops, which allow them to design a money box capable of automatically counting coins using "Arduino" technologies, while the "Junior Robot" pillar enables young people aged 9–17 to build an interactive robot that moves and emits light and sound signals in response to the insertion of coins, thereby allowing them to learn the basics of programming, electronics, mechanics, and saving concepts. This program provides an opportunity for Arab Bank volunteers to participate in executing activities by providing practical support and supervising the learning experience for children.

Ms. Reem Al-Adwan, the General Manager of the Haya Cultural Center, expressed her gratitude to Arab Bank for its ongoing support for this program, which has enabled children to explore their creative and technological skills, and enhance their financial awareness, in line with the center's mission to consolidate culture and develop the children's abilities across the Kingdom, including children from charitable associations and those with disabilities.

It should be noted that Haya Cultural Center was established in 1976 as the first non-profit cultural institution aiming to develop the capacities and skills of children in various cultural, academic, educational, and social aspects, and to nurture their creativity and hone their talents.
It is worth mentioning that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in the field of sustainability and community responsibility, which stems from its commitment to achieving a tangible positive impact on both the economic and social levels, along with its commitment to sustainable environmental practices. The "Together" community responsibility program embodies this approach, through its support for a variety of initiatives and activities that serve vital sectors including education, health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, women's empowerment, and orphan care, through joint efforts with local community institutions.
