Khaberni - Official data released by the Department of Civil Status and Passports, reviewed by Khaberni, reveals that the total number of Jordanian births inside and outside the kingdom for the year 2024 reached 155,808, with 144,102 births inside Jordan accounting for 92.5%, and 11,706 outside the kingdom accounting for 7.5%.
Statistics according to Khaberni show that the number of male births reached 80,238, accounting for 51.5%, compared to 75,570 female births at 48.5%.
At the provincial level, the Capital Governorate Khaberni ranked first with 62,603 births, representing 43.44% of the total births in Jordan, followed by Irbid with 28,085 births at 19.49%, and Zarqa with 14,322 births at 9.94%, which is a natural result given the population density in these provinces.
