Electronic registration for Hajj begins for Jordanians and children of Gaza on Sunday

Khaberni - The Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Places, Mohammed Al-Khalaileh, announced the start of initial registration for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for Jordanians and children of Gaza residing in the Kingdom, starting at 10 am on Sunday, 5-10-2025, and until 9 pm on Sunday, 26-10-2025, via the electronic Hajj registration platform.


The initial registration starts today for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for Jordanians and children of Gaza residing in the Kingdom, starting at 10 am on Sunday, 5-10-2025, and until 9 pm on Sunday, 26-10-2025, via the electronic Hajj registration platform.


In a press release, Al-Khalaileh invited those eligible for registration, who meet the registration criteria, to pay an amount of (200) Jordanian dinars for the principal registrant only, which is refundable after the registration period ends at a time determined by the Hajj and Umrah Department. Companions of the principal registrant are exempt from payment, noting that payments can be made through "eFAWATEERcom" or by visiting a branch of the Jordan Islamic Bank or any branch of Safwa Islamic Bank.

Registration for this year's Hajj season requires that the registrant, male or female, be born on or before 31/12/1980, has not previously performed the Hajj pilgrimage, and will be required to provide a disease-free certificate from the Ministry of Health proving the candidate’s freedom from the following diseases, according to the instructions of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah:

* Failure of any major organs (heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys).

* Neurological and psychological disorders that impair cognition or are accompanied by severe mobility disabilities.

* Dementia accompanied by old age.

* Pregnancy in the last two months or at-risk pregnancy at any stage.

* Active cancer that requires chemotherapy, biological therapy, or radiation therapy.

* Active infectious diseases with an impact on public health (such as open tuberculosis "pulmonary TB").

Regarding those saving with the Hajj Fund, Al-Khalaileh stated that savers who have completed an amount of (3) thousand dinars in their account before 1/1/2020 are entitled, noting that registration for the Fund's savers will be through an electronic link, and concerning a female saver wishing to be accompanied by a Mahram, it is required to have completed an amount of (6) thousand dinars before 1/1/2020 for her and the Mahram, or the Mahram must be enrolled in the Fund and meet the same conditions, as the Fund’s savers are not required to pay any amount at registration.
