Egypt hosts delegations from Hamas and Israel on Monday to discuss a prisoner exchange operation

Khaberni - Egypt hosts delegations from Hamas and Israel on Monday to discuss providing field conditions and details of the process to exchange all detained Israelis and Palestinian prisoners according to President Donald Trump's proposal, in an effort to end the Israeli war on Gaza, according to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

Hamas delivered its response to the Trump proposal regarding the war on Gaza to the mediators, announcing its agreement to release all detained Israelis alive and bodies according to the exchange format in Trump's proposal, with providing the field conditions for the exchange process, in the framework of stopping the war and complete withdrawal from the sector.

Trump stated, "Based on the statement just issued by Hamas, I believe they are ready for a lasting peace," adding that "Israel must stop bombing Gaza immediately so that we can safely and quickly get the detainees out."

Sources confirmed to "Al-Qahira News Channel" on Saturday that indirect talks in Egypt will commence tomorrow between the Israeli and Palestinian delegations.

The sources added that the Israeli and Palestinian delegations will discuss preparing the field conditions in Gaza for the prisoner exchange process for Palestinian prisoners and detained Israelis.

A high-level Egyptian security source reported that the delegations of Israel and Hamas are beginning talks in Cairo on Sunday and Monday, to discuss arranging the field conditions for the exchange process for all detainees and prisoners according to Trump's proposal.

Earlier, an informed Egyptian source told "Al-Qahira News Channel" that preparations are underway to start discussing providing the field conditions for the prisoner exchange process for Palestinian prisoners and detained Israelis.

The Egyptian source added, saying: "Preparations are underway to set up a comprehensive Palestinian dialogue to discuss the future of the Gaza Strip."

The Palestinian movement "Hamas" announced its agreement to release all detained Israelis alive and bodies in the Gaza Strip, according to the exchange format in President Donald Trump's proposal, demanding the provision of field conditions for the exchange process, to achieve a ceasefire and the complete withdrawal from the sector.

"Hamas" reaffirmed in a statement yesterday, Friday, its readiness to enter immediately, through mediators, into negotiations to discuss the plan.
