Khaberni - The official spokesperson for the occupation army, Avichay Adraee, claimed that the occupation army and the Shin Bet found a tunnel path underground with a lathe inside for the production of combat means next to the campus of the Jordanian hospital in Gaza City, denying that this tunnel was dug with the knowledge or involvement of the Jordanian side.
Here are the details as provided by Adraee:
As part of a focused operation in the south of Gaza City, the forces of the 36th Division and the Shin Bet found an underground tunnel opening next to the Jordanian hospital complex, where they discovered an underground lathe for the production of combat tools.
This underground path is part of a military site belonging to the Hamas movement, which was located based on intelligence information from the movement's faction leaders and brigades. The path is about 1.5 km long and has been found to contain production rooms, meeting rooms, and rooms for officials.
In addition to the path found next to the Jordanian hospital, forces found another tunnel opening under Hamed Hospital in Gaza City.
Hamas regularly operates in civilian hospitals, exploiting humanitarian facilities for military purposes, having established a system of underground tunnels under hospitals across the Gaza Strip for years, used to produce combat tools and manage combat.
We confirm that Hamas's activities near the Jordanian hospital were not done with the knowledge or involvement of the Jordanian side.
