Khaberni - Al-Jafr Municipality started, today, Saturday, a field campaign through its staff to remove the random sheep pens erected inside residential neighborhoods in Al-Jafr District, aiming to preserve public cleanliness and the civilized appearance of the area, and to reduce the spread of odors and health nuisances.
The head of the municipal committee, Amin Al-Shuaibat, confirmed that establishing pens within regulated boundaries is a violation of the law and public health and safety conditions, pointing out that the spread of these pens causes health nuisances and provides a fertile environment for the proliferation of insects and rodents, posing a threat to the health and safety of citizens.
He said that the campaign included removing several non-compliant pens inside residential neighborhoods and service areas, in addition to cleaning the sites that were cleared, and rehabilitating them to ensure no future violations.
He mentioned that the municipality continues to implement such campaigns as part of its work plan aimed at improving the level of services and the local environment in various areas of Al-Jafr, calling on citizens to cooperate with the municipal staff and comply with instructions, to maintain public cleanliness and the civilized appearance of the city.
