Ministerial delegation in Ajloun to ensure the completion of pending service projects

Khaberni - A ministerial delegation, on Saturday, conducted an inspection tour in the governorate of Ajloun which included the historical Ajloun Castle, the Ajloun cable car site at its first and second stations, and the Mar Elias Church tourist site, and the city center passing through the Ashtafina area, with the aim of checking the reality of services and infrastructure and the needs of the tourism and service sectors in the governorate.

The delegation included the Ministers of Local Administration Walid Al-Masri, Tourism and Antiquities Imad Al-Hajjazin, Environment Ayman Sulaiman, Education and Higher Education Azmi Mahafzah, and Ajloun Tourism Director Firas Al-Khatatbah.

The ministers praised the qualitative leap in the readiness of the infrastructure, the level of cleanliness, and the service reality in Ajloun, especially in locations that witness a high tourist density, confirming that the level of cooperation and coordination between the municipality and the concerned entities reflects a genuine commitment to implementing the terms of the comprehensive plan.

The ministers confirmed that the visit comes within the framework of supporting these achievements and accelerating the pace of work to ensure the completion of pending service projects, and increasing the efficiency of employees, contributing to making the governorate of Ajloun a model and sustainable tourist destination, in line with the royal interest in the governorate.

During the tour, the chairman of the Ajloun Municipality Committee, Mohammad Al-Bashabsheh, pointed to the most prominent projects and municipal works in the governorate, including the rehabilitation of the Ras Al-Ain and the Western Triangle areas in Anjara to prepare an alternative commercial market for random stalls, the rehabilitation of Al-Hisbah Street in the city center, and the maintenance and restoration of the water passage known as the "Roman Knot" below the city of Ajloun, with the aim of providing a tourist passage and an attractive environment for shopping and revitalizing the commercial center.
