Khaberni - The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported on Saturday that negotiations regarding the American plan to end the war in Gaza are likely to start tonight in Egypt.
Israel Hayom newspaper stated that the Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer will head the Israeli delegation participating in these negotiations, while Channel 12 Israel reported that the American envoy Steve Witkoff is on his way to Cairo to participate in the discussions.
In the same context, the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation Benjamin Netanyahu conducted an urgent assessment of the situation with a limited number of his ministers on Friday evening, as part of the preparations related to these negotiations.
Hamas movement had submitted its response to the Trump proposal regarding the war on Gaza to the mediators, announcing its agreement to release all Israeli detainees, both alive and deceased, according to the exchange formula included in Trump’s proposal and with the provision of the field conditions necessary for the exchange process, as part of stopping the war and the full withdrawal from the sector.
Trump said, "Based on the statement just issued by Hamas, I believe they are ready for everlasting peace", adding, "Israel must stop bombing Gaza immediately, so we can safely and quickly release the detainees."
