Khaberni - The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" announced on Friday that it had conducted in-depth consultations within its leadership institutions and with Palestinian factions, as well as with mediators and friends, before making its decision regarding the proposal by U.S. President Donald Trump concerning stopping the war on Gaza.
The movement stated in a declaration that it values the Arab, Islamic, and international efforts, and the efforts of the American president calling for an end to the aggression on Gaza, the exchange of prisoners, the immediate introduction of aid, and the rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people or the occupation of the sector.
Hamas confirmed its agreement to release all the prisoners of the occupation, both alive and deceased, according to the exchange formula included in Trump's proposal, while providing the field conditions necessary for the success of the operation, announcing its readiness to immediately engage through mediators in negotiations to discuss the details.
The movement also renewed its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian authority of independents (technocrats) according to Palestinian national consensus, and with Arab and Islamic support.
Regarding other issues included in the American proposal related to the future of Gaza and the rights of the Palestinian people, "Hamas" emphasized that their discussion must be conducted through a comprehensive national stance based on relevant international laws and resolutions, affirming its commitment to participate in any national framework that achieves this.
